Clinician of the month
Dr. Odeda Peled is Co-Director of The Integrative Psychotherapy Center in Kfar Oranim, Israel. For the last 30 years Dr. Peled has been devoting her professional life to helping children with special needs and their families, using a multi-systemic, integrative rehabilitative approach. She has developed creative, imaginative, effective diagnostic and intervention techniques applied in individual, group, family, and community settings. Her doctorate dissertation is a brilliant example of theoretical and empirical research. Her compassionate approach to her clients and her limitless devotion to their well-being are remarkable. Online Course on Childhood Traumatic Grief
The National Center for Death Education (NCDE), Mount Ida College, in collaboration with NHPCO, will be offering an online course, Children Bereaved by Traumatic Loss: Assessment and Intervention Strategies, May 9 - June 3, 2011, with faculty Liana Lowenstein. This 4 week online learning program is offered in Angel Learning System, which is user friendly and requires no special software or advanced computer skills. The format is asynchronous, enabling you to read lecture notes, download readings, and participate in discussion at your convenience, day or night and regardless of geographic location and time zone.
